July 1999: Air Studios in London was the site for the introduction of Gibson's new Scotty Moore Signature guitar. Elvis Presley guitarist Scotty Moore and D.J. Fontana were there and did a gig for about 100 invited guests, including Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck. Asked to jam with Scotty, Alvin grabbed one of the guitars off the rack to play Rip It Up, Blue Suede Shoes, Mean Woman Blues and Hound Dog. Scotty has long been one of Alvin's heroes so naturally he was very pleased at the opportunity to play with him and D.J. live.  The performance has been shown on television in Finland, so let's hope the rest of the world gets a look!
